Boogie pop and others 読みました。
ちょくちょく視点変更が入るので、各キャラクターの性格を掴む前に話が終わってしまったという感じ。共感するまでに至らなかったなあ。というか、正直ローマ字の名前だと誰が誰だかわかんなくなってくる。 一方、翻訳の質は良さげ。作者のあとがきに加えて、詳細な翻訳ノートと２巻目の序盤まで載っているのがポイント高い。 著者名は名姓の順番なのに、文中の名前は全て姓名表記なのは何故なんだろう。 I read Boogie pop and others. Due to frequent narrator change, the story ended before I grasp character's full personality. It did not come to sympathy. And I honestly had trouble to identify each character by their romanji names. On the other hands, translation quality looks good (as far as I can tell). Besides author's postscript, including detailed translation note and a introduction of sequel volume is making good impression. I a little wonder why character's name is written in familyname-firstname while author's description is firstname-familyname. スポンサーサイト
